To cultivate at home, MrSoul uses a combination of half ProMix, an excellent soilless medium, and half perlite #3.
He waters his plants daily during the vegetative (VEG) stage. However, during the flowering (FLOWER) stage, he waters them four times a day.
MrSoul relies on Roots Organics Soul liquid nutrients, specifically the Grow and Bloom formulas at a rate of 10 ml per gallon. He incorporates liquid fertilizer at each feeding or watering.
A recommended total dissolved solids (TDS) or ppm (parts per million) level for the nutrient solution is 800 ppm.
Roots Organics Soul Grow is employed during the VEG phase, while Roots Organics Soul Bloom is utilized in the FLOWER phase.
It’s essential to note that MrSoul does not advise using Soul Grow during the FLOWER phase.
Finally, he recommends initiating the growth process in 3-gallon pots and then, when the plants are ready, transplanting them into larger 7 or 10-gallon containers.
