MrSoul’s dedication to breeding manifested in innovative strains like Cinderella 99, Apollo, Princess Haze, and G13-Genius, which left a lasting mark on the cultivation landscape. Supported by Canadian seed reseller Heaven’s Stairway, Brothers Grimm Seeds gained a reputation for strains with short flowering periods, abundant resin production, and exotic terpenes.
From the start, Brothers Grimm Seeds embraced organic practices, focusing on never producing hermaphrodite plants. In an era of rising feminized seed popularity, many breeders faltered, but MrSoul’s research into preventing hermaphroditism set him apart, ensuring genetic stability.
The seed bank thrived for six years until 2002, when security concerns halted operations. Strains became scarce, and MrSoul sought a new sanctuary in Europe, but fate did not align for the bank’s resurrection there.
In 2015, MrSoul and Duke Diamond revived Brothers Grimm Seeds in Colorado. Hidden for years, the precious genetic treasure trove was brought back, marking a triumphant return. Eventually, Duke started his own company, while MrSoul remained, steering Brothers Grimm Seeds toward a promising future.
MrSoul’s mission persisted: to develop strains that transcended conventional standards with dense budding, rapid flowering, prolific resin production, delightful vibes, and unique terpenes. His commitment to quality and consistency set a gold standard in breeding.
